adhd, anxiety, and bears oh my
I nearly flunked out of college. My grad program faculty thought I’d never finish. Life was constantly hard.
Things got better. I learned how to manage my ADHD (and anxiety) — not perfectly but enough — and now I get to spend most of my energy doing things that are important, instead of spending (nearly) all of my energy fighting my own brain.
If only I’d learned how to do this when I was younger! Well, we know I can’t go back in time to make my college and grad school days easier.
